CBSL Grows its team
In our January news we said that we felt the outlook for businesses in 2011 was looking very good. As we move into February we are still seeing very positive signs. Companies remain cautious on capital investment but we are finding that finance providers are looking favourably on well structure businesses.
The clearest sign that we have seen is in expenditure on marketing. Both existing and new clients to the firm are taking the opportunity to tidy their marketing databases prior to mailshots or telemarketing campaigns. We have recently been instructed on a new campaign for a UK subsidiary of an Italian group to help them cleanse their database. A business services chain in London has completed a trial telemarketing campaign with us in January during which our results exceeded their targets for client leads by almost 17%. Prospective customers are notably more receptive to meetings and results this year are suggesting a twofold improvement over those for the last two quarters of 2010. As a result of this we have recently recruited into our sales and marketing team, and are pleased to welcome Glen Marachel to CBSL.
We are also seeing enquiries to set up new companies in the UK, and already this year have had enquiries from several countries including Italy, Ireland, India and Finland.
